Sure it being only Tuesday means the weekend is a way’s away, but it’s still worth pointing out that starting Saturday, Bistrot La Minette will begin offering a very brunch-y lunch menu every weekend from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. According to Meal Ticket, brunch does not translate well into French, so Bistrot La Minette chef-owner Peter Woolsey has chosen to offer a heavy-on-the-eggs bill of fare for lunch. Dishes include escargots de Bourgogne, Burgundy snails, garlic herb butter and croutons; oeufs de pêcheur, Fisherman-style poached eggs, mussels, tarragon cream sauce; and oeufs au plat, pan-basted eggs, four ounce New York strip steak, Peggy’s potatoes, and red wine sauce.
