The stakes for this year’s Turkey Bowl, the annual Thanksgiving day football game between chefs Marc Vetri and Jose Garces and their respective staffs, just got a little higher. Vetri tweeted that they’ve secured University City’s Franklin Field for the game, and upped the ante by throwing in $10,000 ($5,000 from each chef) for the winner’s charity. Since the Phil’s blew it last week, and the Eagles are, um you know, giving it their best, this will most likely be this fall’s most exciting sporting event. [MarcVetri/Twitter]
