Big things are brewing on the horizon for a bunch of our favorite beer makers. And Flying Fish is just one of them. Yesterday the New Jersey-based brewery announced that it’s gotten the go-ahead from locals in Somerdale to move its brewing operations there, and that work on the new facility is underway. The new brewery will boast a German-manufactured 50-barrel brewhouse and 150-barrel fermenters, which together will triple Flying Fish’s output. But volume’s not all the brewery is concerned with. In addition to brewing up more beer, plans include brewing more different styles of beer and expanding the lineup. There’s no word yet on when they expect to move production over from the existing brewery in Cherry Hill. [Flying Fish;Earlier]
