Dock Street Brewery
Dock Street Brewery is sticking it to the man and pouring power to the people today, and every Wednesday from hereafter. In opposition to big banks and corporate greed, the West Philly brewhouse will no longer accept credit cards for payment on Wednesdays. In a prepared statement Marilyn Candeloro states “Dock Street Brewery will not pay out to the One Percent.” Well, at least not on Wednesdays they won’t. And since the brewery and restaurant won’t be paying to process credit card transactions, they will pass along the savings to customers. Every cash transaction will be discounted by 3 percent.
