Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant just sent word that its ninth location — and first for Philly — will open on Wednesday, January 4, following a ceremonial “first pour” at 4 p.m., where founders Kevin Finn, Kevin Davies and Mark Edelson along with Councilman Bill Green and Councilwoman Cindy Bass will draw the first pint from the brewpub’s taps for a toast. At 5 p.m. the doors will be open to the public. Longtime Iron Hill brewer Paul Rutherford will tend to the new location’s brewhouse operations, while chef Mario Romero will oversee it’s kitchen. The new location will serve lunch and dinner daily.
