You’ve heard of 7x7’s Hot 20 Under 40 (which lately, interestingly, includes people over 40)? Well, now Zagat is doing their own list, for the food world, of 30 Under 30. Among their picks: Wise Sons co-owners, Evan Bloom and Leo Beckerman, aged 26 and 28 respectively; former Ubuntu chef Aaron London, 28; Atelier Crenn pastry chef Juan Contreras, 29; Locanda chef Anthony Strong, 29; Commonwealth’s plucky general manager Xelina Leyba, 29; and regularly lauded Aziza pastry chef Melissa Chou, 29.
