Remember when we told you there was a liquor license in the works for Sammy Chon’s K-Town BBQ’s still newish location in Chinatown? Well, there’s some good news to report. The Korean barbecue restaurant got the go-ahead to start selling booze. Sammy Chon checked in to inform us that he’s stocking the bar now, and will start serving drinks tomorrow. “We’ll definitely have Soju, and beer in bottles,” Chon told Grub. “We’re getting a two tap kegerator soon as well.” Let’s all raise a glass to beer and Korean fried chicken.
