We’re not sure which is bound to ruffle more feathers: The fact that Xfinity Live! will have a bar that seemingly celebrates the brutish nature of bullying, or that its secured Third Eye Blind to perform at its grand opening on Friday. No matter what, those with tickets for Bruce Springsteen’s two performances at the Wells Fargo Center tomorrow and Thursday nights will be some of the first to get a peek at the new Broad Street Bullies Pub, a bar and restaurant at the heart of the new complex that was built in homage of the Philadelphia Flyers’ 1974 and 1975 back-to-back Stanley Cup wins, as well as other food and drink options opening there.

Earlier this week, Flyers alums Bernie Parent, Bob Kelly and Joe Watson dropped by the pub to help with its memorabilia and trimmings. In addition to pucks, posters and other relics, Broad Street Bullies will feature 48 taps and a menu that runs the gamut from burgers to more sophisticated gastropub fare.

Also opening with Broad Street Bullies, are the upscale-ish Spectrum Grill, which will have a steakhouse vibe, and Philly Market Place, a large open space with a raw bar and satellite locations of several Philly institutions, including Chickie’s & Pete’s and Old Original Nick’s Roast Beef. Victory Beer Hall will have 2,000 square foot patio and a huge selection of Victory brews and other local beers in on tap. Another bar and restaurant, PBR Bar & Grill will have a country sort of thing going on, complete with a mechanical bull.
