No matter how many states ease their rules for possession and personal use, unless the economy completely self-destructs, greenage will never be accepted as a substitute for greenbacks. But that hardly stopped one enterprising pothead near Niagara Falls from trying to barter herb for some late night Moons Over My Hammy at Denny's last weekend. Buffalo News reports that police are in search of a dude who ordered food to go Saturday night, and tried to settle up the $9.91 tab with a bag of weed and one dollar.
Undeterred by the cashier’s refusal, he then reportedly tried to sell his stash to several other customers seated in the restaurant’s dining room. He finally gave up and made a dash for the door when the cashier phoned police. It could’ve been the perfect crime, had another employee not recognized the guy, and identify him for police. We suspect he would’ve had a much better chance bartering weed for a First Meal over at Taco Bell.
