The kitchen at NoLibs Spanish spot Bar Ferdinand is going full steam with David Ansill running the show. He’s been at the wheel there for a little more than a month, after returning home from an extended stay in Jamaica. In September Ansill, who earned the praise of critics and diners for his work at Pif and Ansill Food & Wine, will completely unfurl his culinary freak flag in the form of a new menu at Ferdy. In the meantime he’s going to serve a weekly eight course tasting menu, served only on Thursdays for $40. This week’s introductory prix fixe will spotlight tomatoes. Keep reading to check out the menu.
