Sampan’s Michael Schulson sends word that he and his team on 13th Street have updated the menus, adding both new dishes and new drinks. Among the new dishes are the summery BBQ pork summer roll, served with carrot and glass noodle; Corn satay with coconut, lime and togarashi; and Vietnamese beef noodles, marinated beef with rice noodle, crispy shallots and Thai basil. But the big news is, on the drinks side of things, the bar has added two new variations of its popular scorpion bowls. One is a cucumber Margarita made with Cuervo Silver, aloe vera, and lime, while the other is Blueberry lemonade, made with Absolut Citron, Meyer lemon, and blueberrya. Keep reading to check out the new menu and cocktail list.
