What do you get when Scott Schroeder summons 13 of the city’s best chefs to Point Breeze’s American Sardine Bar? Easy enough: One of the biggest sausage parties this town’s ever seen! And we’re not referring to the blatant gender bias either. Rather it’s ASB’s second annual Sausage Fest, which is happening Saturday starting at 4 p.m. Chefs including Nick Elmi from Rittenhouse Tavern, Chad Jenkins from Little Fish, George Sabatino from Stateside, Nick Macri from Southwark, and free agent David Katz are all planning on slinging their sausages at the tubed meats feast. Along with sausages, the fest will have a variety of Oktoberfest beers on tap from craft and local breweries.
