We told you that Food Network personality/producer and host of cult show Double Dare Marc Summers was showing off a new smiley mug at September’s Feastival fund-raiser, just weeks after having his face rearranged in a horrific taxicab accident. Today, he’s beaming that smile again for People, but tells that magazine that he has to undergo additional procedures before he’s completely healed from the crash. Though you’d never know it from the photo Summers snapped for the piece, the magazine reports that his left eye still isn’t in the right place, and that he needs to have tissue removed from just beneath. All told, the surgeries present a three-month setback, but he’s “going to remain optimistic.” [People, Earlier]
