Say It Ain’t So: Pub & Kitchen Eighty-Sixes the Churchill Burger

That all-beef bummer brewing over at Pub & Kitchen that we alluded to back in August finally materialized today with the rollout of the Rittenhouse haunts new fall menu. Missing from it is the much cherished and adored Churchill burger. The rich, marrow-slathered, custom LaFrieda dry-aged blend patty and all its accoutrements have been nixed. In its place is the more simply named Burger. But dont let the lack of pomp and circumstance fool you. Its made with a custom Creekstone Farms ground beef blend thats topped with double-cut bacon, pickled onions, and Shropshire blue cheese. Its on now, as is the rest of Chef Jonathan Adams new menu.
