Union Transfer, the music hall that opened last September as a joint venture between Four Corners Management’s Avram Hornik, R5 Productions’ Sean Agnew and several other cohorts, is going to get a bit of a boost to its hipness later this week when a switch-up of its concessions operators is complete. Seems the veggie and vegan-friendly quick-casual operation HipCityVeg, which has been saving the lives of non-meat eaters in need sustenance in Center City since it opened in April, is bringing its goods to the concert venue. There’s no real word yet on what will be served, but according to a post on HCV’s Facebook, we can all expect “A+ food and drinks all day.” No matter what exactly that turns out to be, it will surely come as a major improvement to the Union Transfer’s limited lineup of edible offerings.
