Back in September when Munish Narulla introduced take-out service at Tashan, many wondered aloud who exactly would order chef Sylva Senat’s sumptuous Indian small plates to go? Well, last night it was none other than Bob Dylan. Yeah, that Bob Dylan. Senat said the call came in last night just as the 71-year-old American singer-songwriter was about to treat fans at the sold-out Wells Fargo Center to a 15 song set that included everything from “Tangled Up In Blue,” “Like a Rolling Stone,” and “Blowin’ in the Wind.” And he ordered just about everything on the menu. The ticket included four orders each for G.O.C. naan, Tandoori shrimp, Tandoor chaamp (lamb chops), Mangalorean sausages, Afghani chicken kebabs, and gol-gappa. Senat, who was on his way home when the call came in, turned around and came back to the restaurant to make sure the order was perfect.
