Just as sure as Peter Cottontail bounces down the bunny trail, cranium-cleaving barleywines bust heads wide open each Easter with Split Thy Skull. This year, its seventeenth, the long-running beer fest returns to Tattooed Mom on Saturday rather than Sunday. There’s a dozen sky-high abv. brews going on tap, which T-Mom’s staff will be pouring individually, and in flights of four. The beers start flowing at 1 p.m., but the brains usually don’t start blowing up until 3 p.m. or so. Keep reading to see what’s lined up.

Barleywines confirmed so far:

Troeg's Flying Mouflan

Iron Hill The Situation

Widmer Old Embalmer

Duclaw Devil's Milk

Boulder Killer Penguin
