Looks like Ugly American isnt the only watering hole in South Philly thats reached the end of its run. Teris, the cozy diner-luncheonette by day and off-the-beaten-path bar by night, is also hanging it up. The owners, according to Passyunk Post, have put it up for sale liquor license and all. And surprisingly, the asking price isnt all that steep. For a cool $600k, the 1,800 square-foot space, its booths, central air, and license to sell alcohol can all be yours. Theres no word on why the owners are looking to cash out. Though its suffered its share of staff shake-ups since opening in 2008, it was mostly seen as breath of fresh air for the section of the market south of Washington Avenue. In 2010, when it scored a liquor license, it along with neighboring Connies Ric Rac brought much needed nightlife to the strip, too. Check the full listing here. [Punk Post]
