Alex Boonphaya, chef and owner of the popular Circles Thai restaurants, continues keeping things interesting with the introduction of a new menu feature. It’s a series of dishes inspired by Thai street food. Right now he’s serving it only at his NoLibs location, but plans to bring it to South Philly in the weeks ahead. The dishes, which range in price from $7 to $9, include grilled pork skewers with sticky rice and spicy chili jam; mussel pancakes with chives, bean sprouts and carrots with a sweet tamarind sauce (pictured); fried chicken with sweet chili reduction; and more. The just introduced items are available daily in addition to Circles’ regular a la carte offerings. Keep reading to see the full street food menu.
