Surprisingly, there are still tickets available for Theater Exile’s Fergie Fest, happening Thursday evening at the venerable RUBA Club. The evening serves as a roast for barman extraordinaire and patron saint of the local arts community, Fergus “Fergie” Carey of Fergie’s Pub, Monk’s Cafe, and Grace Tavern (among other fine watering holes) fame, and a fundraiser for the theater’s forthcoming production by Bruce Graham about former Philly Mayor Frank Rizzo. The evening promises food, drink and fun. With Fergie in focus and a roster of roasters that includes Jess Conda, Lee Etzold, Madi Distefano and Doogie Horner, we’re guessing the emphasis will be on fun.
