Burger Brawl, the all-beef fundraiser for local elementary schools and their student computer labs that was founded by Rouge owner Rob Wasserman and his wife Maggie, returns to Fleisher Art Memorial on Sunday, May 5 for its third installment. As in years past, they have more than 20 of the city’s top burger flippers lined up to compete. And this year, there’s also going to be bartender competition, where mixologists will battle it out to see who makes the best cocktail featuring Jim Beam Jacob’s Ghost White Whiskey. Tickets run $75 a pop, which includes tastes of all the burgers, beers from Dogfish Head, cocktails, Rita’s Water Ice, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and tons more. And Grub has a pair that we’re giving away.
All you have to do to score them is tell us about your favorite burger-related post on Grub Street Philadelphia. Leave a comment below that tells us why you like a particular burger story, and include the link before 12 noon EST on Friday, May 3. We’ll pick the winner that same afternoon.
And if you don’t win, tickets are still available here, and on site the day of the cook off.
