South Philly’s cult-y Artisan Boulanger, which has been dragging out its well publicized relocation for more than a year, is now closed. But hopefully not for very long. Around the corner from its old digs, owner Andre Chin is preparing to reopen at 1218 Mifflin, reports Passyunk Post. The old spot is now owned by Table 31’s Chris Scarduzio, who plans to tear the old bricks down to the ground to make way for his forthcoming restaurant. Exactly when that will actually happen remains unclear, but Artisan Boulanger appears to be ready to debut its new locale in any second. [P’unk Post]
