Le Bec Fin Is Closing For Real

Au Revoir

Sad news is coming down the pipeline this afternoon — but it’s not like anyone didn’t see this coming — Le Bec Fin is going to close. For good. This June. Insider reports that Nicolas Fanucci is indeed out. Chris Scarduzio is stepping in as director of operations. Interim chef Steve Eckerd is headed to the burbs. And, Roxborough native Justin Bogle, who scored two Michelin stars while helming New York’s Gilt is coming in to turn the once mighty temple of classic French cookery into a “progressive American cuisine” restaurant. And so ends Le Bec’s impressive four-decades run. Au revoir. Merci. Rest in peace. [Insider]
